1. Assistant Director | Degree in Engineering in Civil/ Mechanical/Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Aeronautical/ Electrical/ Electronics disciplines from a recognized University with Three years’ experience in; OR Master’s Degree in Science in the subjects of Electronics/ Physics with two years’ experience in; OR B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University or equivalent with Physics/ Electronics as subjects with Five years’ experience in;- (a) Air Traffic Control with Aerodrome Control/ Approach Control/ Area Control rating; Or (b) Licensing of Aerodromes/ Flight Crew/ Air Transport; Or (c) Management of Airside Operations of major/ International Civil Airport; Or (d) Aircraft flying with Commercial Pilot Licence; Or (e) Aircraft Flying in Defence Services; Or (f) Flight operations department of a Schedules Airlines; Or (g) Aerodrome Design and Planning. |
2. Scientist-B (Physical-Civil) | (A) (i) Master’s Degree in Physics/ Chemistry from a recognized University/ Institute; and (ii) One year practical experience in the testing/ evaluation of building construction materials employing physical methods of analysis in a recognised Laboratory/ Institute OR (B) (i) Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology/ Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute; and ii) Two years’ practical experience in the testing/evaluation of building construction materials employing physical methods of analysis in a recognized Laboratory/Institute. NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Desirable: (i) Research and Development experience in testing and evaluation techniques/ Non Destructive Testing techniques, material science, quality control, standardization and calibration. (ii) Specialized knowledge of modern methods of testing soil for engineering purposes/ refractory materials/ heat insulating materials/ cement/ timber etc. |
3. Administrative Officer Grade-I | Degree of a recognized University or Institute. Note: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Experience: Three years of experience in a supervisory capacity of Administration, Accounts and Establishment work in a Government office or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous body or Statutory body. |
4. Scientist – ‘B’ | Master’s Degree in Zoology from a recognized University. Note: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Experience: Three Years’ experience in research and technique in the field of Zoology from the Central or State or Union territory Government/ Autonomous Body or Statutory Organizations or Public Sector Undertakings or University or Recognized Research Institutes. |
5. Specialist Grade III (Urology) | (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post-Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or super specialty mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI of CHS Rules from recognized Teaching Institute i.e. Magister Chirurguie (Urology); or Diplomate of National Board (Urology) |
6. Scientist ‘B’ (Environmental Science) | Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from a recognized University or Institute. Note: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Experience: Having at least three years research experience in Environmental management in Water Resources aspects. |
7. Engineer & Ship Surveyor – Deputy Director General (Technical) | Certificate of competency of Marine Engineer Officer Class-I (Steam or Motor or Combined Steam and Motor) as specified in section 78 of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 (44 of 1958) or equivalent as specified in section 86 of the said Act. Note: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Experience: Five Years’ service at Sea of which One year service as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer. Desirable: One year experience in Survey and Inspection of Merchant ship and One year experience in Survey, inspection and examination of merchant ship. |
8. Specialist Grade III ( Neuro- Surgery) | (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post Graduate degree in the concerned super specialty mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M.Ch.(Neuro –Surgery). NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. |
9. Specialist Grade III (Orthopaedics) | (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post-Graduate degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty mentioned in Section-A or Section-B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M.S. (Ortho.)/D. Ortho. (Diploma in Ortho.) |
10. Specialist Grade III [OtoRhino-Laryngology (ENT)] | (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post-Graduate degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty mentioned in Section A or Section-B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M.S.,Oto-Rhino-Laryngology (ENT), D.I.O. (Diploma in Oto-rhinolaryngology). NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. |
11. Specialist Grade III (Tuberculosis & Respiratory Medicine Pulmonary Medicine) | (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post-Graduate degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty mentioned in Section A or Section-B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M.S.,Oto-Rhino-Laryngology (ENT), D.I.O. (Diploma in Oto-rhinolaryngology). NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Experience: Three years ‘experience in the concerned Speciality after obtaining the first Post –Graduate degree or five years’ experience after obtaining the Post Graduate (PG) Diploma. |
12. Specialist Grade III (Tuberculosis & Respiratory Medicine Pulmonary Medicine) | (i) A recognized MBBS qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post-graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned speciality mentioned in Section-A or Section B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e., M.D. (Tuberculosis)/M.D. (TB & Respiratory Disc)/M.D.(Medicine) with T.D.D. /M.D.(Medicine) with D.T.D./M.D.(Medicine) with D.T.C.D./M.D.(TB & Chest Diseases)/T.D.D/D.T.D./D.T.C.D. |
